don't be shy

i am an absolute sucker for anything color. after all color is cheery, exudes every single emotion, and is equivalent to complete gorgeousness. matthew lew's "high res rainbow" for cb2 throw pillows exemplify my style to the tee. "bohemian-chic" is how i would best describe my decorating taste; incorporating contemporary elements that coordinate with all things traditional (furniture, frames, and old family photographs or knick-knacks to name a few) is a simplistic segway that results in unified but distinguished variety. these pixelated beauties will harmonize any sofa hue with its limitless surroundings and will lead its occupants to the quintessence of comfort. $49.95 each will bring billions of 100% cotton, multi-colored pixels to focus on feather-down pure relaxation.

rustically beautiful

my beau and i, along with our 10 pound doxen (and world-class co-pilot) lola, recently traveled cross-country from cleveland, oh to los angeles, ca. not your average sunday afternoon stroll, though we spent some extra time on the road checking out some of the sites. unbeknownst to us, right off of i-40 outside a wee-bit little teeny-weeny town called amarillo, tx, lives what many past cross-country veterans refer to as the "cadillac stonehenge." fortunately, art historians too would be blasted away when coming face to face with what appeared to be one of the most original, rustically-artistic, hand-crafted works known to man. the "henge" consists of 10 vintage vehicles (all cadillacs), all buried hood-first into the fertile ranch land at 80 degrees each. The existing earth leaves evidence of various spray paint cans belonging to a variation of tourists, nomads, and wanderers all who have marked their names with symbols, gang signs, or initials of whom they will inevitably "love 4 eva". organic verses man-made, the ever-changing cadillac stonehenge surely is a site to see.
